推薦信通常是在申請大學的時候，學校會要求學生要提交2~4封的推薦信。 之前分享過一篇有關寫推薦信一定要知道的內容及注意事項，這篇主要是針對申請大學的推薦信，但內容都是可以參考的，建議還沒有讀過這一篇的朋友，可以先讀一下喔。
由於最近向我們諮詢海外中學的家長開始變多了，所以我們想要在此分享一些有關申請海外中學的資訊。
加拿大的公立中學開放給國際學生的名額很有限，在申請的條件上學校除了會要求學生近兩到三年的學業成績之外，也會建議再附上推薦信、讀書計畫、作品集...等資料，讓學校能夠更了解學生，在眾多國際學生申請中增加入取機會。除了提供申請必要文件給學校外，建議文件可以斟酌準備。我們找了三個推薦信的範本(如下)提供給寫推薦信的推薦人參考。

To Whom It May Concern I am writing this reference letter at the request of Kong Yi Chang who is applying for admission in your school. Kong Yi has been my student for the previous 2 years at Ming De Junior High School, and I have had the pleasure of getting to know him as a scholar, an athlete and a person. As a student, Kong Yi is able to grasp quickly and accurately, even the most complex of concepts taught in class and takes his academic success very seriously. I have had the opportunity to oversee an academic program led by Kong Yi, where he shone as an individual and in the process, made a mark for himself as a literary expert. He gets along quite well with all his teachers and has not been the subject of any complaint. She is aspiring to join your high school and I do not think that there is a more suitable student to do so. Let me briefly explain why. Debra has been a credit to my class ever since she graduated from Elementry School. She has gained commanding expertise in the intricacies of literature – both old and contemporary. Due to her infectious enthusiasm, she was chosen to lead the English drama club last year, which she has led with exceptional insight and authority. But academics are not Debra’s only forte. Apart from the English drama club, she has been actively involved in basketball and swimming, both of which she excels at. In 2016, she is expected to qualify for the County Swimming Championship which I believe she will ace.
